The Queens Diamond Jubilee Celebrations
Snarestone, June 2012
This June, before England built up false hopes in the Euros and long before the Olympics came to London, the Queen celebrated her Diamond Jubilee, which brought many of the villagers out for a picnic in the park, with some musical entertainment provided by some local youngsters and a classic game of Norman Ripley's Play Your Cards Right.
With games going on well into the evening on the conery for people of all shapes, sizes and ages joining in, is turned into one of those wonderful Snarestone evenings, where even the weather permitted the good people of the village to put their brollys away for a little while. Here are a few photographs of the day.
